Smarter working

At PTSB, we introduced a Smarter Working Programme to enable optionality and more flexible ways of working for colleagues, while encouraging the use of a broader range of technology.

The range of Smarter Working options available to colleagues include:

Employee resource groups

To support the delivery of our D&I Strategy, the Bank has set up a number of Employee Resource Groups (ERG's), whose aim is to enable employees to join together based on shared characteristics or life experiences.

There are currently three ERGs in place – PRISM, PTSB’s LGBTQ+ Network, Better Balance, a network focused on gender balance across the Bank, and LIFE, a Life Balance and Support Network and DICE, which recognises, values, promotes and celebrates people of all races, ethnicities, nationalities and cultural heritage.

PTSB is also a member of the 30% Club, a group of c.200 Chairs and CEOs committed to better gender balance at all levels of their organisations.

The Bank is a member of Triple FS (Female Fast Forward – FS Women in Leadership) and has actively championed women in leadership development through our partnership with the Irish Management Institute (IMI) in addition to our Early Career Development Programme, supporting our female colleagues who are only just beginning their career.
