Can I apply for both Role Profile Streams?

Yes, you can apply for both Role Profile Streams. In order to do so you will be required to submit an application for both streams on our Careers Portal.

How do I know if I fit the profile for the Programme?

Candidates must be on track to achieve a 2.1 honours Bachelor’s degree (NFQ Level 8 or above), or equivalent, and are due to graduate in 2019, or have graduated in the last 3 years (by the time the programme begins, i.e. 2016 graduates), in one of the following disciplines:

How long is the position for?

The Graduate Talent Programme runs for 24 months and includes 3 x 8 month rotations.

What will a typical day look like?

Great question, the reality of somewhere as varied and fast paced as Group Risk is that no two days are the same. It can be anything from preparing data for a board meeting, helping draft a response to the regulator or analysing portfolio data to generate business insights.

What kind of development can I expect to receive?

The goal of the program is to provide graduates with the platform to develop key career skills and equip you for your career within the Bank. Our size and structure allows greater opportunities for you to grow and develop your professional expertise.

This will allow you to develop highly sought after specialist knowledge and technical skills in a best in class Risk function. By joining our Graduate Talent Programme you will have the potential to be a future leader in the company. 

Where will I be located?

All our graduates normal working place will be in our Head Office located in St. Stephens Green, Dublin 2, with an exception of one team, which is based in our office in 1 Park Place, Hatch Street, Dublin 2.

What support is offered to Graduates?

We pride ourselves on offering a personal and rewarding support structure to our Graduates through a 3-tier approach consisting of the following:

  • Designated Programme Mentor (senior member of staff)
  • Line Manager
  • Fellow talented Graduates

Am I guaranteed a job on completion of the Graduate Talent Programme?

This is a fixed term contract position with duration of 24 months. On completion of the programme you will have the opportunity to apply for available permanent roles within the Bank.
