permanent tsb has today launched a new demand deposit option called the ‘Booster Bonus Deposit Account’ allowing customers immediate access to funds at any time without penalties. The new product offers a return of 1.50% gross/Annual Equivalent Rate (AER) on balances of €10,000 or more or 0.50% gross/AER on amounts under €10,000. Customers who make no more than two withdrawals in a calendar year will receive a variable interest rate bonus rate of 1% Gross/AER on top of the account rate.
With this account customers get the best of both worlds, immediate access to funds and, if they don’t make more than two withdrawals in a calendar year, a bonus which is credited directly to the customer’s account at the end of the year.
