permanent tsb charity rugby match

On Friday 26 May 2017, permanent tsb will take on AIB in a charity rugby match. Staff from both banks will compete for the Staff Charities Rugby Challenge Cup.

permanent tsb and AIB will join forces for one time only, to raise much needed funds and awareness for our staff charities: Special Olympics Ireland, Cycle Against Suicide and Laura Lynn.

See below for some information on the charities that we are raising funds for:

Special Olympics Ireland

Special Olympics Ireland is a year-round sports training and competition programme for people with an intellectual disability. It provides athletes with far more than the physical benefits of sport. It’s about fun, friendships and team spirit. It’s about a feeling of belonging, and ultimately improving quality of life. Special Olympics changes lives in so many different ways. www.specialolympics.ie

Cycle Against Suicide

Cycle Against Suicide raises awareness of the considerable help and support that are available for anyone battling depression, self-harm, at risk of suicide or those bereaved by suicide. Their objective is to let people in every corner of Ireland know that – it’s ok not to feel ok and it’s absolutely ok to ask for help - www.cycleagainstsuicide.com

Laura Lynn

LauraLynn Ireland’s Children’s Hospice provides palliative care and support for children with life limiting conditions. They support the whole family, allowing parents to be ‘Mum and Dad’ rather than full time carers. LauraLynn also provides residential care for young adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. www.lauralynn.ie
