  • Bank demonstrates commitment to providing enhanced digital services to its customers in line with the PSD2 Directive
  • The new functionality, by providing access to permanent tsb’s suite of Application Programme Interfaces (APIs), is a critical step in allowing authorised third parties to provide digital services in a secure and safe manner to permanent tsb customers

Dublin. 12 August, 2019. Following on from the launch of its API Developer Portal in March, permanent tsb has now launched all live production versions of its Open Banking APIs. This now means authorised Third Party Providers (TPPs) will be able to offer new solutions to PTSB customers and permanent tsb can explore new avenues to further enhance its own customer offerings.

The bank has published implementation guides for Account Information Service Providers (AISPs) and Payment Initiation Services Providers (PISPs) and this initiative will align the bank with the European Open Banking ecosystem.

Permanent tsb Chief Technology Officer, Tom Hayes, said; “This is the latest step for permanent tsb’s commitment to providing our Customers with an outstanding digital experience and builds on our delivery of several digital enhancements over the past year, including our API Developer Portal in March.
