Due to scheduled maintenance, the following permanent tsb services will be unavailable to customers between 10pm on Saturday 7 March and 7am on Sunday 8 March:

  • Open24 Online Banking
  • Open24 Telephone Banking
  • Permanent tsb Mobile Banking
  • Mobile Text Banking 

During this time you can still use your Visa debit card at ATMs and retail point of sale (POS) outlets as normal.

Please note that your account balance will only reflect its position as at 10pm on Saturday 7 March throughout the entire maintenance period.  Your account balance will be updated once the scheduled maintenance has been completed. 

Also, if any lodgements are made to your account during the maintenance period, you won’t have access to these funds until after the maintenance has been completed.  However, you’ll still have access to the funds that were in your account before the maintenance started.

  1. Why is the maintenance taking place?
    To help manage our online services we need to schedule routine maintenance from time to time. This sometimes means customers may not be able to access some online services for a very short period of time.
     
  2. How long will the scheduled maintenance last for?
    The upcoming scheduled maintenance will last between 10pm on Saturday 7 March and 7am on Sunday 8 March.
     
  3. What ptsb services are undergoing maintenance?
    Open24 Online Banking, Open24 Telephone Banking, permanent tsb Mobile Banking and Mobile Text Banking are all undergoing maintenance.
     
  4. Will I be able to access these services during the maintenance period?
    No. You won’t be able to log on or access any of the above services during the maintenance period.
     
  5. Will I be able to access money and use my Visa debit card during this period?
    Yes. You’ll be able to use your Visa debit card at ATM and retail point of sale (POS) outlets as normal throughout the maintenance period.
     
  6. Is there anything else I should know?
    Please note that your account balance will only reflect its position as at 10pm on Saturday 7 March for the entire maintenance period.  Your account balance will be updated once the scheduled maintenance has been completed.
