permanent tsb has today announced details of its €25 million investment programme to open 25 former Ulster Bank branches in communities across Ireland.
The new branches will increase permanent tsb’s branch footprint by approximately 30% and bring the total number of permanent tsb branches to 98.
The Bank will open the new branches in January and February of 2023 following a €25 million rebranding and refurbishment programme. The Bank’s expansion forms part of its wider acquisition of mortgages, SME loans and asset finance business from Ulster Bank.
permanent tsb is encouraging customers to move their account to permanent tsb before the Ulster Bank branches close on 6th January and 13th January. Customers can open a permanent tsb current account by downloading the permanent tsb app and availing of permanent tsb’s award winning digital current account opening process, which allows customers open an account in less than 15 minutes. Alternatively customers can make an appointment in one permanent tsb’s existing 75 branches nationwide or in one of permanent tsb’s mobile branches. The new permanent tsb branches will maintain cash services in all locations and will include teams who worked in these branches when they were operated by Ulster Bank.
They will offer the full range of permanent tsb’s award-winning services including mortgages, current accounts, deposit accounts, personal loans, insurance and pensions.
