When will these fee increases come into effect?

The fee increases will come into effect from 25th August 2022.

Are any other Business Current Account fees increasing?

No, only the five transaction fees and the quarterly account fee outlined above are changing on 25th August 2022.

Is there anyway I can avoid the quarterly fee for maintaining the account?

Registered Charities who hold the “Business Current Account” that maintain a minimum cleared credit balance of €126.97 or an average cleared balance of €380.92 throughout the quarter will not pay the quarterly maintenance fee. To qualify, the Charity, Social Enterprise or Religious/Community Voluntary Organisation must be registered with the Charities Regulatory Authority or on the Revenue approved list of bodies with Charitable Tax Exemption under the Tax Acts.

Please note that your account balance will not be updated for lodgements made by cheque, bank draft, or other credit lodgements until value has been received.

When will the new maintenance fee be taken from my account?

There will be no changes to your existing charging quarters.

Do I need to confirm in any way that I accept these changes?

If you accept the new fee structure to your account no further action will be required – there will be no change to your account details and it will operate as normal.
