Next steps

The following information applies to you if (a) your mortgaged residential property is the one in which you reside or (b) your mortgaged residential property is the only one that you own in the Republic of Ireland. If none of the above applies to you, please click here to find out how we may be able to help you.

To get started, you need to complete and sign the Standard Financial Statement (SFS) which will give us a clear picture of your current financial circumstances. You can do this in your local permanent tsb branch with the help of our local Mortgage Consultants. Alternatively, call us and we can post an SFS to you.

Once you have done this, just contact your local permanent tsb branch to make an appointment with the local Mortgage Consultant and we would be happy to talk you through your options.

All you need to do is bring the items below with you:

  • Signed Standard Financial Statement
  • 3 months up to date primary bank statements
  • Proof of relevant income as applicable (e.g. 2 recent payslips, p60 copy, social welfare receipts)
  • If you are self employed you also need to supply 6 months recent business bank account statements and either a letter from your accountant confirming current year earnings OR a copy of the most recent tax balancing statement.

You may feel it appropriate to seek professional independent advice to assist you at this stage. We would also advise you to consider contacting the Money Advice & Budgeting Service (MABS) on 0761 07 2000 (Monday to Friday 9am to 8pm) or visiting www.mabs.ie or www.keepingyourhome.ie
