Ukraine Crisis

The humanitarian crisis in Ukraine is of deep concern to all of us at PTSB. To help contribute to the global relief efforts, we recently donated €125,000 to Red Cross and €125,000 to UNICEF. To help ensure financial aid reaches Ukrainians, we will also continue to refund transactions fees on all Swift payments to Ukraine and Moldova. Our thoughts continue to be with the people affected by this crisis.

Opening a Bank Account

If you have recently arrived in Ireland from Ukraine we want to make opening a bank account with PTSB as easy as possible. Our Basic Payment Account offers you a secure place to keep and access your money. Information on the account can be found here and list of the documents required to open the account can be found here.

Call us on our dedicated phone line on 0818 81 8735 or 01 655 0523  from Monday to Friday 9am-5pm to book an appointment in any of our branches and we can start the process to get your new account set up.

We understand that some customers may feel their English isn’t sufficient to attend a branch appointment alone. If so, we are happy for you to bring a translator with you.

We will continue to closely monitor this fast-moving situation and support those affected as best we can.

Basic Payment Account

This account is available to customers who don’t already hold a payment account or current account in the Republic of Ireland.
