1. PTSB Visa Debit Card customers who are over 18 years of age at the time of entering the competition are eligible to enter the competition.
2. To enter the competition, the entrant must (a) fill out the competition application form, providing your name, email address, contact phone number and 16-digit debit card number this can be done via visa.ie/ptsb and (b) carry out five PTSB Visa Debit Card transactions with the same card details provided within the application, these five transactions must consist of the purchase of goods or services for €5 or more. (Excluding ATM Transactions and Automatic Fund Transfers) between 00.00.01 IMT on the 08/04/2024 and 23.59.59 IMT on the 24/05/2024 (the “Eligibility Period”). To fulfil this condition in its entirety, both (a) and (b) entry criteria must fully completed and submitted within the Eligibility Period.
3. Your personal data will be collected by PTSB and Visa Europe Limited. Your personal details will be used to determine if you have met the entry criteria stipulated in condition 2 part (b) and inform you if you are the winner of the competition. For the purposes of this Promotion, PTSB and Visa Europe Limited have entered into an arrangement to determine their respective responsibilities under the GDPR. Under this arrangement, PTSB is responsible for providing you with information about the processing and acts as the point of contact for your queries and GDPR requests. 4. Only one entry per customer is permitted.
5. The competition consists of two prizes. The winners of the prizes will be decided by an independent third party, Bright Blue Day (BBD). The winners of the competition will be contacted and informed which prize they have won.
6. Subject to these terms and conditions, no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the competition or the awarding of the prize. The third party’s decision is final.
7. The prize is non-transferable and there will be no cash alternative to the prize on offer.
8. The winners will be contacted by BBD on 06 June 2024. BBD will contact the winners by sending an email to the email address provided on the registration form. The winners must claim the prize by responding to, and providing the required information as outlined in, the email.
9. If the winner has not claimed the prize within four working days, BBD may contact the winner using the phone number provided on the registration form, asking them to respond to the email with the relevant information. Winners must confirm their acceptance of the prize, by following the instructions in the email by 5pm on 13 June 2024. If the winner does not confirm their acceptance of the prize within the timeframe the prize will be awarded to the next eligible person randomly selected.
10. PTSB reserves the right to make public the name of the winner for publicity purposes and the entrant by entering into this competition confirms the acceptance of this right.
11. The prizes are: A two night trip for two people to the 2024 Paris Olympic Games and Opening Ceremony between the dates of 25/07/2024 - 27/07/2024. This prize includes return flights to Paris, 2 nights’ accommodation in a 4 star hotel, airport transfers, breakfast in the hotel, tickets to the Opening Ceremony, tickets to the Artistic Gymnastics, Paris Metro card, Paris tourist pass, Visa Prepaid card (€200), gifts, access to Visa everywhere lounge at the hotel and a winner hamper.
And a two night trip for two people to the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games and Opening Ceremony between the dates of 27/08/2024 – 29/08/2024. This prize includes return flights to Paris, 2 nights’ accommodation in a 4 star hotel, airport transfers, breakfast in the hotel, tickets to the Opening Ceremony, tickets to Para Swim event, Paris Metro card, Paris tourist pass, Visa Prepaid card (€200), gifts, access to Visa everywhere lounge at the hotel and a winner hamper. All additional expenses incurred are the sole responsibility of the winners and neither PTSB nor Visa Europe Services Inc are responsible for same.
12. The package is non-transferable and no alternative dates or packages will be offered.
13. Guests accompanying the winner must be 16 years or over.
14. In the event of a prize being unavailable PTSB reserves the right to substitute it for one of equal or greater value.
15. The promoter is PTSB and the prize is fulfilled by Visa Europe Limited.
16. Employees of PTSB or Visa Europe Limited, their holding or subsidiary companies, International Olympic Committee, Paris 2024 Organising Committee of the Olympic/Paralympic Games, agents, or anyone professionally involved in the promotion are excluded from entry and/or accompanying the winner on the trip.
17. PTSB reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions at its discretion and/or terminate this promotion without notice but subject to applicable law.
18. The prize is subject to availability and is subject to change.
19. Personal details will be collected by PTSB and Visa Europe Limited and as stated, subject to condition 10 above in respect of the winner’s name.
20. The International Olympic/Paralympic Committee and Paris 2024 Organising Committee of the Olympic/Paralympic Games are not liable in respect of any matter arising out of this promotion.
21. All Olympic/Paralympic Games tickets are issued subject to Paris 2024 Terms and Conditions of Ticket Purchase.
22. The winner consents to sharing personal details to Visa Europe Limited for the purposes of the application entry criteria outlined condition 2 part (a).
23. This competition and these terms and conditions is / are governed by Irish Law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts with respect to any dispute arising out of this competition or the application of these terms and conditions.
24. By entering the competition the entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
