Due to a Bank of Ireland error on the 26 February, withdrawals made by permanent tsb customers from some Bank of Ireland atm machines appeared twice on customer account balances.
For example, if a customer withdrew €50 from an Bank of Ireland atm machine, their account balance reflected two €50 withdrawals in error.
We have been in close contact with Bank of Ireland and we expect that the second debit will be reversed and processed by early Saturday morning through a Bank of Ireland repayment.
