With your Explore Account you get 5c back as you Pay and Cashback on Bills.

Every time you pay with your card in-store or online, you‘ll get 5c cashback up to a maximum of €5 per month.

We‘ve partnered with some of Ireland’s leading brands to bring you a saving on your bills when you pay by Direct Debit.  These savings will appear as cashback in your account.

Account partners features and benefits are subject to change.

Overdraft rates

The current overdraft rate of interest is 15%. This rate is variable and subject to change. Lending terms and conditions apply.

In the case of an unauthorised overdraft, an additional interest rate of 12% variable per annum will be charged.

Where applicable a set-up fee of €25 also applies and an annual renewal fee of €25 applies annually thereafter.

Warning: If you do not meet the repayments on your loan, your account will go into arrears. This may affect your credit rating, which may limit your ability to access credit, a hire- purchase agreement, a consumer-hire agreement or a BNPL agreement in the future.

Proof of income requirements

If you're applying for an overdraft, we will require proof of income & proof of your PPSN. Check out our required documents page for details of what may be required.
