Need to cancel a regular payment?

If a company is taking regular payments using your Visa Credit or Debit Card and you wish to cancel this, please call us on 0818 50 24 24 (01-2124298) and follow the below steps:

  • You will need to provide us with your full 16 digit card number and details of the subscription that you wish to cancel, including the Merchant name and amount of the regular payment.
  • We will contact our Visa Department who will block any future attempted transactions by this company.

Please note: If the Merchant changes their name the payment may represent, in this case you will need to contact us again to dispute the transaction. If you wish the regular payment to continue at a later date you will need to contact us to remove the block.

Have you ordered merchandise or services and not received them?

The best place to start if you've not received merchandise or services you've paid for with your Visa Debit or Credit card is by contacting the company you bought them from. Have you ordered merchandise or services and they are not as described by the merchant?

Have you ordered merchandise which has proven to be counterfeit?

Sometimes you may have inadvertently purchased goods, such as designer fashions, which are counterfeit. Should your goods be retained by Revenue, or you have confirmation from the actual supplier/authorised representative confirming the goods as counterfeit, we can help you raise a dispute. Have you been promised a refund and not received it?

Have you attempted to withdraw funds from an ATM and not received the cash?
