New deposit and identity theft scam claiming to be from permanent tsb

A new scam regarding deposits has been in circulation. Fraudsters are currently contacting potential victims via phone call using a UK phone number claiming to be a member of staff within permanent tsb and they're offering individual Savings Accounts (ISA).

Email scam claiming to be from courier companies

There are fake emails in circulation claiming to be from multiple courier companies informing customers that their delivery of goods has failed and must pay €2.20 to have it rescheduled. These emails require customers to enter their Card details. Customers are also required to enter the authorisation code received from their Bank.

A new smishing (text) scam is in circulation which inform you of a package being undelivered due to outstanding payment towards shipping costs. The messages circulating can also contain personalisation such as your first or second name. Do not let this fool you.
